It's me, waterlemon.

This is my first time to have my birthday in U.S.A. other than in Taiwan.

If you want to ask me what's the feel of it?

Well......somehow it is complicated.

Thanks for my sister as well as hers friends.

Thanks for the birthday song, the cake and the birthday gift.

I am so happy that you are so nice to hold a birthday party for me even though all of you are so busy.

But somehow, I miss my friends in Taiwan so so so much.

It's my first time to have my birthday party without any of my dear friends.

Surprisingly, I found that I miss the hot pot party that we would hold for my every birthday with my college roommates (also my best friends).

The crazy and the happiness are the wonderful things in the world.

I also miss the smaller celebration that my college roommates as well as graduate roommates "fish" and "Li-Stu" hold for me when we were graduate students.

It was so pleasing and so lucky for me to have you these nice roommates. Seriosly.

And, of course, I miss all of the members in Lei's lab.

We celebrated every one's birthday in the lab. I miss the life there that we shared the hard time and enjoyed the happiness all together.

I miss the laugh and the funny jokes that we talked about.

I was so jealous when Ya-Hui told me that they were going to have a spicy hot pot (which is our faviorate!) to celebrate my birthday even through I am not in Taiwan with them.

I am so glad that they still take my birthday to heart althrough I am no longer in Lei's lab.

I miss them all so much.

Maybe I'm just not used to it.

I mean the phones that I pick up every birthady.

I can hear so many friends's voice including all my best friends in my junior high school, Sam, Ann, as well as many friends that I have long time not heard about.

I felt so warm to see the crowed "Happy Birthday" messeges in my phones.

Which made me smile from the deep of my heart.

But, I am still glad to have my birthday here in U.S.A. with my dear sister and her nice friends.

It's raining and cold outside.

But I'm still glad to being here to have such a sepcial birthday.

Thanks you guys. Thanks my sister. And, thanks my dearest friends.
